I think quite a few internationals have left KHL, and of course two full teams have quit on their seasons and effectively left the league. (Jokerit Helsinki and Dynamo Riga). Many of them have already been snatched up by other European teams, but I would imagine that with the ruble crashing and the country making a quick turn towards a full totalitarian dictatorship, it might not take much to even lure some Russians out from their teams, playoffs or not.
If someone has good contacts in KHL, it might pay off in the shape of some cheap and decent quality depth players. A unique opportunity certainly.
