Travel Bank credits from changed or cancelled flights can be used to pay for flights up to 12 months from the date your flight was cancelled. Sign in to your WestJet account to check your credit expiry date. Travel can occur after the expiry date.

Expired credits get new life.

We’re returning expired credits back to your Travel Bank, so you have more time to use them for future travel. Credits that have expired or are set to expire between March 18, 2020 and September 30, 2021, will be reissued and extended for an additional 12 months. The clock starts again after your credit has been extended by WestJet.

If your credit has expired, we’re working on it — please allow time for your balance to show in your account.

**Does not apply to Travel Bank credits created since March 18, 2020 that were issued with a 24-month expiry.
