The hip surgery thing is definitely concerning. The same surgery Tulowitzki got and really didn’t rediscover his former form.

Edit: After looking further into it it seems like ( not surprising) a lot of pro baseball players have gotten this surgery, with varying degrees of success. Chase Utley, A-Rod and others have bounced back pretty well.
