He had hip surgery in Sept. 2020, so I wonder how much that affected him last year. I also think that playing in the AL East will really help his numbers, plus hitting in this lineup will be a big plus for him.
I am not sure he will ever be a .300 hitter, but his walk % went up last year so he is showing more discipline at the plate which is good.
Really though this is all about the glove, the extra offense he gives is going to be gravy, plus it will be way better than the offense we have been getting from 3B.
