This is how my #### garage door is powered. My place is all pieced together with scraps. No two screws in any particular item match.
It’s also impossible for any municipality to catch everything anyway. Or even have staff that know every code. Most don’t know half of the ones they’re supposed to anyway. It’s actually quite frightening.
