CEC rules trump over everything. It's in the literature I've already posted, you can prove me wrong there. STANDATA's are adopted practices but not above law. If a case went to the Supreme Court of Canada all STANDATAs are localized and don't represent the adopted standards of Canada.
And to be honest you don't work for my company, I can guarantee that. We actually do important work.
You're the one claiming STANDATA overrides the electrical code, you prove it.
Edit: I did a cursory search and couldn't find any examples of a STANDATA overriding the CEC
