Ideally, yes. I think most would agree with that a playmaking 2C would be an perfect fit for this roster. In the meantime however Monahan should be afforded the opportunity to play consistently with some combination of talent that can compliment his playstyle, and it really is puzzling why he hasn't seen a greater look this year alongside two talented wingers together.
