We don't need NATO to impose a no fly zone. We can give Ukraine tools to solve their air defense problems. Putins only tool right now is bombing Ukrainians into submission from afar, because his tanks and troops are not getting through. Additionally, I have doubts the Russias on the ground really want to drive their tanks into an urban setting infested with anti tank weapons. It would be a graveyard for them. Maybe a Russian tanker or soldier doesn't want to fight that hard if it means occupying a well equipped and well prepared city.

Israel can donate the iron dome plus other cutting edge ground based close in weapons systems. Rheinmattal has a perfect system to compliment it which uses advanced guns and lasers to hit artillery, rockets, missiles and bombs in flight.

In Iraq the US had their 20mm phalanx defensive cannon (normally on a warship) shooting mortars and rockets out of the sky. They created a special type of ammo for protecting urban settings to minimize collateral damage. We're already arming Ukraine, why can't a bunch of these be set up in the cities? As far as I know they work remotely with their own sensors, just give them ammo and electricity, turn switch from off to on position and watch it do its thing.

I think any additional weapons types and capabilities directly from a NATO country is not a good idea. It would force Putin to have to respond in some way to NATO, his big bad wolf scapegoat, which he probably wants. However if Israel were to supply Ukraine with these tools he can't say Nato is escalating this.

It should all go through Israel. Russia won't mess with Israel, too much on their plates as it is.

I have no idea.
