At the beginning of the year it felt like there was a gaping gap on the blueline, but now I don't see it. And if anything I think there is real risk in messaging with some impressive established chemistry each pairing has.
That all gets tossed out if there is an injury. And next to Johnny the second most important player on this team is arguably Tanev.
But you can't totally solve for that anyways.
I think the team needs a solid #7 that they would trust to step in over Juuso (who they don't) or Stone (who hasn't played).
Which should be easy to get.
But otherwise I don't mess with a good thing. Each pairing has found their stride.
