3rd goal went right over his shoulder, but far from bar down. Even Kelly reluctantly said it should’ve been stopped.
4th goal was similar, a bit better shot but again he makes himself too small when going on his knees to be beaten high with a shot that doesn’t have to be perfect.
Markstrom would’ve had likely better rebound control on the first one and saves at least the shot on the third goal, which was the difference in the game score wise…and, the Caps were lethargic and outplayed until they got that iffy first goal and from then on in they had the advantage in play.

Yeah, no. I am fully aware of what goals were scored, when and by whom
I did not connect those goals but see how you read it that way
Perhaps you didn’t see the stuff that went through Markstrom vs Montreal.
I like Markstrom, he is very good. But do not think he helps tonight
Rebound control on goal 1 a culprit? That’s laughable. A hard shot off the pad from inside 10 feet? Lol. He could have done without Looch serving a pizza into the slot and face planting
The third goal was a sweetly placed shot, through Kylington’s legs, a bullet over the shoulder. If that’s a bad goal, then you have a pretty good goalie. Nice problem to have
4th goal ‘a bit better’? Again laughable. Hathaway takes his eyes away and that shot was off the post through traffic, so I don’t know about this making himself small comment. If the Flames score on a shot like that, it’s a perfect screen. Somehow if they let it in, it’s on the goalie.
I find it to be kind of silly.
