I like Hanifin, but when I start looking at the order of priority of players that are harder to replace, he is farther down the list.
He is good, steady, not amazing at anything, but not weak either. Good player, fair contract.
But the team would feel the loss of Andersson, Kylington, and Tanev much more.
Mackey or Valimaki are players that may be able to replace him down the road and could at least fill the spot in the near term.
If we can keep him great, but there may need to be some hard decisions on players, and he is a guy that would carry some significant trade value.
