Dealerships and new vehicles are a terrible value proposition at the best of times. Record low inventory, terribly high prices, and a ‘take it or leave it’ attitude from the leeches waiting to suck you dry with interest rates and add-one? No thanks.

Manufacturers treating customers like they’re doing them a favour by selling them unrelenting money pits. Craziness.
I don't get it either. Why are people so hung up on new vehicles? Have they never heard of Autotrader, kijiji, etc?

How could you possibly have no choice? I am 51 and have never owned a new car. Now I wouldn't recommend some of the crappy cars I've owned but something ~5 years old is a hella good option. Are these people just unable to drum up some cash and stuck with whatever financing they can get through a deadlership? Is it business related and having to lease? Heck even a LOC for a used car is a better option especially right now.

Not trying to be overly critical just really wondering.
