This is a pretty high profile case in Edmonton where a 13 year old girl was raped and killed on a golf course 2 years ago. Details are pretty gruesome and there were 5 people involved but 3 were young offenders. Today the first verdict from court of Queens Bench comes down with the 21 year old guilty of all accounts. Yet somehow the 36 year old is acquitted? I don't know how this guy can't be guilty of something. I mean 36 and you're hanging out with 15-21 year olds...Call me judgemental, but thats got dirt bag written all over it. I have no idea how this guy could be considered innocent and having no part.

My guess is the 36yr old had a much better lawyer, and/or there wasn't enough physical evidence to nail him... despite the obvious character flaw.
