We read into NATOs word differently I suppose. If Russia doesn’t target a NATO member, no member will actively engage in military conflict. I can’t see one leader being the difference.
The situation is hairy as hell. But it doesn’t look like nato is going to get pulled into war by what happens in Ukraine, at least not the odd execution. Keep the energy flowing and response will continue to be rhetoric and financial.
‘Putin will pay...’. Yeah, you mean Russian citizens will live in misery while multi billionaires can’t purchase multimillion dollar yachts.
‘We stand with you’. Well, rhetorically. You’re actually standing alone staring down war planes.
