Take the Trump comment out of the post and think logically. A huge portion of European energy comes from Russia and from Ukraine, wither Putin ends up controlling Ukraine or ends up significant self interest in the country. When you hold the energy hammer over 500 million people and the worlds 3rd largest economy, that's an issue that needs to be dealt with. There isn't a switch that can be flipped to magically deal with that.
Enough reports are coming out that cyber attacks have had a massive affect on Ukraine's ability to defend themselves in this, if we aren't going to send boots on the ground, can we at least provide them with the best level of support across the board?
Ukraine and the EU/NATO have been in positive talks regarding membership, how is that going to continue now?
On a more serious note, if Putin continues to go after other states or at least inflicts additional pain in other countries, what are we going to do other than sit around and worry about the optics at the UN?
I get it, a lot of people don't like Trump cause he's a moron and a mentally sick individual and caused a lot of damage to the world community. Does it matter that we have a more cunning, smarter, sicker and more dangerous murderer doing the same thing and even worse to the global community today? This going to have a significant affect on billions of people today, can we have a proper response from the worlds powers?
