That's not the gist of the interview at all. The interviewer posed all those questions contrasting the quietness and humble outlook of both Calgary players and citizens and Z answered them in a straightfoward manner in a way that reflects on the utility of people in this city.
Z never asked about material things or expressed a need for all those things. He's quite happy with his GM SUV for his family rather than a Ferrari and even comments that people in Calgary see vehicles as tools rather than something to show off like people in Moscow.
