The one place where the Flames play appears to have yield less efficient results vs the rest of the league does look to be in their point total. They're in the mix with Minnesota, and St.Louis in the Conference when some other numbers suggest they should be closer to Colorado, Florida, Carolina, and Tampa Bay.

10 straight should've put them further ahead than they are.
In any other year if a 14th ranked team wins 10 straight it puts them up in the top 5 easily.
Flames, incredibly, still just in the 6-8th range.
