Dallas Good from The Sadies has passed away
I have seen hundreds of different rock and roll bands perform over the last thirty years. But the best live band that I ever saw—and I saw them a dozen times and they were always great—was The Sadies. They were an absolutely magical act. They've been beloved here in Canada their entire career, and have commanded tremendous respect in the US too, where folks like Jon Spencer and Steve Albini are huge fans.
Dallas Good has died and I am gutted. I've always looked up to them as the absolute model of professionalism and dedication, and have loved loved loved the music that they make.
