I can't help but think Jones is different than other Olympic athletes. Forty seven years old, not overly fit. Is that a factor when you get to Olympic level competition and stress? I know curling is different than other sports but are other teams more athletic?

Agree with the comment about Jones and fitness/age. She's past her prime.
I question the tournament qualification system Canada is using. I feel it would be more effective to select the teams based on aggregate recent performance rather than winning a single event.
Not that I am any authority on the matter, but we must examine our processes as these results are disgraceful for a nation with our history in the sport.
