Day 13 (PM of February 16 - AM of February 17)
Men’s Curling begins at 18:05, Canada (5-3) faces Great Britain (7-1). This should be on CBC and I think it will be on TSN as well. We’ll also have Norway vs Italy, Sweden vs Switzerland, and Denmark vs USA.
At 18:30 the Women’s Halfpipe Freestyle Skiing Qualification begins and I think this will be on TSN2. 2021 FIS World Championships Silver Medalist Rachel Karker makes her Olympic debut as does Amy Fraser. Canadian Cassie Sharpe is defending her Gold Medal in this event.
At 19:30 the Downhill portion of the Women’s Alpine Combined event begins. Roni Remme is the lone Canadian competitor. I think this will be on Sportsnet1. The Slalom portion is scheduled to start at 23:00.
At 21:10 it is Canada vs the USA for the Gold Medal in Women’s Hockey. This will be on CBC.
Men’s Freestyle Skiing Halfpipe Qualification starts at 21:30, I’m not sure what channel this will be on. Calgarian Noah Bowman is trying to improve on his fifth-place finishes in Sochi and PyeongChang. Calgarian Brendan Mackay is making his Olympic debut. Simon d’Artois is in his second Olympic games.
The Women’s Ski Cross 1/8 Finals start at 23:00 (the seeding races will begin at 20:30), I don’t know what channel this will be on. Sochi Gold Medalist Marielle Thompson and PyeongChang Silver Medalist Brittany Phelan are joined by Olympic rookies Hannah Schmidt and Courtney Hoffos. The Quarterfinals should begin at 23:35. The Semifinals at 23:54. The Finals should begin at 00:10.
At 23:05 Canada faces Denmark in Women’s Curling, I think this will be on one of the TSN channels and it should be on CBC after the Hockey Game. At the same time we have Great Britain vs cheaters, South Korea vs Sweden, and Japan vs Switzerland.
The Ski Jumping portion in the Men’s Team Large Hill / 4 x 5km starts at 01:00. The Cross Country portion should be starting at 04:00 and I believe this part will be shown on Sportsnet.
The Women’s 1000m Speed Skating starts at 01:30, this should be on CBC. Alexa Scott is in the first pair to skate, Maddison Pearman is in the sixth pair to skate.
At 03:00 the Free Program in the Women’s Singles Figure Skating begins and should be on CBC as well as one of the TSN channels. Madeline Schizas is currently in twentieth.
The Semifinals in the Men’s Curling Tournament will begin at 05:05. This will be on CBC.
