He got two assists, both off of shots actually. But he sets up a bunch of other plays (and has some notable defensive plays too.)
Perhaps not strangely, this is when Mangi-Monahan-Coleman was a line. Better linemates, better effort it seems.

I just watched that entire video. You cherry pick a game from Nov 14th to show his amazeballs puck distribution skills and this is what we get? Best part is on the first goal its Monahan losing the puck along the boards and Kylington making a great play at the blue to avoid the turnover up the ice.
The second one Monahan tries a bad angle shot on the PP, Tkachuk picks up the rebound and scores.
How is this showing his good puck distribution skills in anyway?
Regardless now Monahan is gifted a solid player on his line, hopefully whoever that is figures out how to play with him and gets some kind of production 5 on 5 because he has been abysmal.
