You answered your own question here.
The only thing anyone is trying to cancel is breaking of the laws, occupying cities and boarders and trying to overthrow a democratically elected government (What's more cancel than that?).
The initial protest annoyed a lot of people, but really most people were fine with peaceful protests at government sites, legislatures etc.
A lot of people were also sympathetic to the feeling that it's time to loosen restrictions, build bridges between vaxxed/unvaxxed and truckers should maybe have exemptions.
Even if I disagree with them, I don't mind people having those feelings.
But the true colours of too many of these people has come out.
What those people are doing goes beyond where a respectful difference of opinion can be maintained.
