Hopefully this fixes the depth scoring. That's a good contract - Hamonic's acquisition cost was expensive in large measure to having what was widely scene as a bargain contract. I think Toffoli has a really good contract as well.
With the entire Backlund line heating up and playing better, if the Flames can start getting regular production from what I assume will be the Dube-Monahan-Toffoli line, this team is going to be incredibly difficult to defence against.
Losing a 1st always hurts, and I do believe Heinemen will be a player - pretty nice floor with questionable ceiling on him - but this makes sense and acquires much needed goal scoring ability in the 'bottom 6' (or middle six).
Also, I really like Ritchie's non-stop motor and willingness to just do whatever it takes on every shift, but Flames needed an upgrade there desperately, and Pitlick was worse than Ritchie as he didn't seem to offer much of anything at all. Hopefully Toffoli can settle-in quickly and can start to develop some chemistry right away. At least he is familiar with Darryl's system and expectations, so it should be a bit easier of a transition.
