I have no issues at all with Jones representing Canada. She deserves to be there but her rink just hasn’t played well.
The game against the Swiss was decided in 8 basically. It was tied at that point. Go back and look at how well the Swiss played that end and that Canada could not execute. By the time we got to skip stones, a steal was assured and you could see the steal of two there for the taking. Jones miss was obvious but the whole rink shares blame. Exact same story in 9.
It’s a shame and I don’t really know the answer. But it sure seems like other teams are playing better when shots are needed. Just like in the mixed.
