It felt like they watched 8 years olds enact this battle in a playground then put it to script.
Rancor was cool until it went full king kong.
I thought it was supposed to be this lumbering, slow-moving monstrosity.
Why not take out Slave-1 and blast them all to hell (including the scorpion droids)?
I'd like to think our heroes would at least employ some of the logic that we would. Boba was playing down to the enemy and just going for style points with the Rancor while risking his life unnecessarily. He had no qualms using his ship to face the sarlacc. Strange to ditch it when you could use it most.
While it was watchable, this show was a series of questionable decisions.
Going to need Obi-Wan to be head and shoulders above this.

I agree with most of your points, but I think it was a lot of filler to hammer home one main plot point.
Mando believes in the Mandalorian Code, which Fett doesnt, and stayed with Fett against insurmountable odds.
I assume at some point that show of honour is going to come back when Mando is going to need Fett.
Granted, I dont know what he's going to need Fett for. Its not like Fett appears all that useful at the moment.
