Yes but this illustrates that change needs to be made from the bottom up in hiring practices of NFL general staff. Minorities need more opportunity to get into coaching and I don't think anyone disagrees with that. Those numbers also proves that if you are hiring a head coach today, the majority of top candidates will be white because of the lack of minority coordinators. I really hope that minorities are given more opportunity to get into the coaching ranks but I do also believe when it comes to hiring a head coach a GM or owner should not have to take skin color into consideration. If an owner is passing on black coaches because of race then shame on them but if he legit thinks a white candidate is best for the job he should be able to hire that man without their motives being questioned.
