As for the article; it's laughably misleading. A plate of 6 dumplings is meant for 6 people, not 1; One whole plate of veggies is also meant to be shared among several people, which is why the calorie content is inflated.

Regardless of which restaurant you visit, there will be some foods that are unhealthy for you, and some healthier food choices. Discretion is up to the consumer.
Actually the soup is suppose to be pretty healthy for you. I seldom eat hot pot at restaurants anyway. It's better if you just head to t&t supermarket and get your stuff there.

And hotpot can be pretty bland...if you don't know about the various yummy soups of course You can probably find the soup ingredients on the net, or even purchase them at t&t I believe. Oh, not to mention the many sauces for your meat...holy crap, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
