What do you people think the costs are of delivering the electricity?

Do you get mad at Safeway if they sell you an apple for $.01 over cost at $.35c, but then charge you produce clerk fees, store heating fees, cashier fees, to get to the same $.80/apple cost?

I don't understand how people can be this obtuse - power is expensive not only to produce, but to transmit and maintain the transmission infrastructure...

I am usually confused by these posts... This is a regulated industry that gets a huge light shined on its profits and infrastructure costs regularly...

On top of that, even if you disagree and think they're absolutely bending us over as consumers, you know you can go buy ATCO or Direct Energy (parent NRG Energy) stock and enjoy the spoils of this perceived consumer-buggery?
