Nothing is more frustrating than giving skilled propsect 2-3 games and going "He wasn't impressive and didn't produce, send him back down".
Grinders can come up and immediately be noticeable, because they aren't really adapting to the speed. They just need to go out and hit everything that moves.
But skilled guys need time to adjust, making plays at the next level needs to be done quicker, and you need some reps at NHL pace to adjust to that speed.

For sure, but you have to do the little things right to turn 2-3 games into 15, and I don't mean light it up.
