I'm not sure if you're referring to Bennett and his time Calgary but unlike Bennett Tippett has been given a fair shot at the top six and he hasn't made anything out of it. Some flashes sure but I've never seen anything more than bottom six guy. For being supposedly a goalscorer he is one of the worst finishers on the team.
I wouldn't mind the Flames targeting him if he comes cheap (doubtful since still young) but he wouldn't move the needle at all IMO.
