Plus you have to consider the ice time factor. Kane ends up the first pp Hyman slides off and puljujarvi probably gets lost in the shuffle. Kane is better but it’s not a straight add and it hurts puljujarvi development. A young player starting to produce. If puljujarvi stays on the pp Kane is used to being a first line first pp guy who probably will be a cancer to the team if it doesn’t work out for him personally
Adding forwards to this team makes less sense when they quite often in close games play 2 players close to half the game. Adding to the blue line or in net adds way more to this team. This move has to block any chance of a deadline add too
