His issues in Winnipeg were because he didn't want to be in Winnipeg and asked for a trade numerous times. Management did not do anything about his requests. As a result, this soured his relationship with his teammates.
Do you really blame him for not wanting to be in Winnipeg as a black man (yes- this is very important because it makes a huge difference).
I wouldn't even want to be in Winnipeg for any reason.
