I’m not talking exclusively about avoiding collisions. What happens if something falls off? What happens if a tire goes flat. Who’s responsible for securing the cargo? What if the place you need to get to hasn’t been properly mapped?
You could do away with pilots entirely based on how good the technology is. But we don’t.
Write a law that requires people to be behind the wheel of any vehicle that uses public roads,
