Failing to bring Sinema and Manchin into line is the real issue. If you have a 50/50 senate with the VP as the tie breaker, you really don't need to reach across the aisle, you just have to make sure your own people are in lockstep. Republicans seem to never have an issue with this like the Democrats do with Sinema and Manchin.

Do we forget John McCain's big thumbs down that killed the Obamacare repeal a few years back?
Republicans had control of everything for 4 years and barely got anything through as well. Just hard to push anything through with the filibuster in place.
