I agree ! One thing or one trend I can't understand in the North American diet is this trend of the same meat dishes becoming meatless with a bunch of processed crap or even original ideas.
Let's not order a veggie pizza, that's boring. Let's get plant based pepperoni, Beyond Meat sausage, vegan cheese, cauliflower crust. This isn't pizza!
Meatless steaks, meatballs meatballs, vegan chicken and veggie dishes, vegan burgers. It's strange to me.
There are literally a million dishes and a ton of cultures that do delicious, veggie and vegan friendly meals that are original, not the same repackaging of classic dishes.
