I wish people would move off the "we need an elite center" thing, because we don't. We almost won a cup with Conroy as our (good) 1C and Iggy the (elite) 1RW. I would even argue that our current 1C Lindholm is just as good as Toews was when he was winning 3 cups with his elite RW Kane.
[Edit]
This team doesn't get an elite 1C without having to give up either one or both of our elite Ws anyway, and we wouldn't even have any 'good' wingers to pair with out shiny new elite 1C even if we got one. So... again, I come back to move Backlund and a pick out for a top-six RW upgrade. Monny is getting his mojo back finally, so we can go into the playoffs with two good Cs and two elite Ws and maybe even a couple of good Ws to finish out the top-six.
Move Dube and Valimaki for another good, middle-six C. Do something with the 4th line. Maybe add another depth D that can at the very least chew some minutes without giving the puck away if there's an injury, and we're good to go.

Also Elias Lindholm is a top end center based on his play this season.
He ranks 13th among all forwards in Goals Above Replacement.
Behind Tomas Hertl and ahead of Auston Matthews, Kirill Kaprizov, and Leon Draisaitl.
That feels like good Company...
