At the same time this team has no true #1 defenceman....i was fine with the 1st time the flames gave up draft capital for a top young dman. So was pretty much every fan. Whats Dougie Hamiltons trade value now? Certainly more than a 1st and 2 2nds given up, i see the same value with Chychrun. Get him Brad.

I would think he is way more likely to send a a 4th, 5th type of draft pick for depth players. When the trade deadline occurs.
Over the last few years, this is the trend.
