Presuming a flame regulation win tonight, here are the standings projected based on pt % / rewound to their actual total as of 41 games:
61.5 Colorado Avalanche
55.8 Minnesota Wild
54.3 St. Louis Blues
51.0 Nashville Predators
45.6 Winnipeg Jets
45.3 Dallas Stars
36.9 Chicago Blackhawks
25.2 Arizona Coyotes
50.0 Vegas Golden Knights
50.1 Calgary Flames
45.0 Anaheim Ducks
45.0 Los Angeles Kings
44.0 San Jose Sharks
42.1 Edmonton Oilers
41.0 Vancouver Canucks
28.7 Seattle Kraken
They'd have to jump 5 teams for the last wildcard slot, or all three CAL teams for the last PAC spot. Even this assumes EDM stops the bleeding immediately and manage 4pts in their next 4 games.
Obviously not out of it, but a very tough road. The silver lining for them is that they've only had 1 game (Loss to LAK) against the other teams in this dogfight during this garbage stretch, and won't play another until Feb 14. They'll need to do very well in the rest of those games:
4 vs. SJS
3 LAK
2 ANA
1 WPG
2 DAL
