I haven’t really followed Lindell, so you are likely right, though it’s early days for him. Knight looked good last year in his 4 games but this year has been average to less than average IMO.
I do see that Fla has already traded their 2023 pick so they’d without a first rounder (albeit a super late one) for two years.
I suspect the ask for Lundell is because the Panthers are top heavy in forwards, and can afford to lose him if they are in win now mode, with the notion that maybe the Panthers counter with someone different but also pretty good. OTOH do they need CHychrun that badly? Ekblad, Weegar, Forsling and Montour are not a bad top 4. And they have Juolevi who may yet become something.
