Interestingly enough after all the panic after the loss a couple weeks ago to the Panthers that we couldn't compete with a team like that, here is how it all played out through 2 games.
5V5
Corsi For: 49.8% (Advantage Florida)
High Danger: 54.7% (Advantage Calgary)
xGF%: 53.00% (Advantage Calgary)
GF%: 50% (Toss Up - 5 GF, 5 GA)
Shooting Percentage: 7.25%
Save Percentage: .917
PDO: .989 (Advantage Florida)
So Flames actually carried the play in terms of xGF against Florida, Florida had the better shooting and Save Percentages, and in the end it was pretty even through 2 games.
Score was probably a little misleading in both games as well. Florida probably deserved better than 5-1 last night, Flames deserved better than 6-2 two weeks ago.
