This just reeks of more people trying to change things for the sake of change. I get that some things need to change as the world progresses, but the current flag is neither offensive nor controversial. I agree with the above comment. The current flag would probably lead 9/10 Canadians to probably guess Calgary. The new one would probably have 0/10 people associate it with calgary. It's just dumb and a waste of time and resources. How much money would it cost to now replace flags and logos all over the city?

Considering how often the current flag is used, and the number of people who don't even know what it looks like, I suspect that number is pretty low.
