Settle a debate for me re: red light laws in Alberta & the rules for entering on amber.
I know the city only issues camera tickets if you enter on red (ie enter on amber finish on red isn't ticketed) but is the actual law in line with that, or is that just to give them leeway?
Or is the law itself such that if you're in the intersection at all when red (going straight), you're in violation? (ie enter on amber, finish on red) Most online guides deciphering the Traffic Safety act seem to skirt this since road/speed/conditions come into play for ambers.
