I love Seiko's, to me I get excited when I see somebody else with a nice Seiko as compared to a Rolex. Nothing against Rolex, great watch, it just becomes the de facto fancy watch that a lot of people have.

Yeah, when I set out to buy another watch this Christmas, I really wanted to get a Swiss watch at first, but something about this one spoke to me when I put it on.
I saw a comment above calling this a baby Alpinist. That's not technically true. This is an homage to the original Seiko Laurel Alpinist from 1959. It has a similar aesthetic to that watch, but with modern dimensions and caliber
When this watch came out in August, I knew I had to get one.
