Now this organization is saddled with no depth in their lineup, extremely limited cap space and a $6.3M contract they’ll likely have to buy out this offseason. The talent evaluation from Treliving and co. is a complete joke.

I don’t think that was an either/or situation (keep Bennett instead of Monahan). They’re unrelated. Plus Monahan hasn’t really been the problem in the POs you make him out to be, not compared to a whole lot of other players.
