Awesome, When I took my skates in he wasn't going to do them. Said he didn't work on skates anymore. We chatted about his business and work he had done for me before (years ago). The more we chatted the more he touched my skates and looked at what needed to be done. Eventually after an enjoyable 20 minute chat, he said he could fix them.

Fast forward to picking them up. I was paying and his wife said to me "He must have liked you, because he doesn't work on skates anymore."

It seems he just wants to do business in a certain way. A way I enjoy.

Sadly you are correct he is a dying bread, which was a topic we discussed.
