More to the point I wonder what the chances are we will see a player for player trade? it looks like it is hard for the Flames to make these types of trades at all and next to impossible during the season. What would be everyone guess of a player for player swap before the NHL trade deadline 10%, 40%, 75%? Judging from what I seen it looks like 10% which is kind of disappointing to me as it would be awesome to see.

I actually think it may be more likely this year than most, because they have to anticipate clearing room for Gaudreau and Tkachuk and it’s better to trade a guy like Monahan at the TDL. So They might trade Monahan plus extras for someone who maybe makes the same, but is a rental.
