This is nothing but a punishment for STH. They should let everyone who doesn’t want to go not go and if that is more than 50% then sell tickets to reach capacity. Forcing STH to keep/use their tickets is straight up punishing the fans that spend the most money with with team.

I don't know, I'd say that's a pretty harsh assessment on the efforts being made. The NHL and the Flames (for their benefit and the fans) are clearly doing their best re-schedule as many of these games as possible under circumstances outside of their control.
The fact that there is potentially no perfect solution for these games that are going a head at 50% isn't a "slap in the face". I'm sure execution could be better as well, but there's not pre determined playbook for this either. They are trying to accommodate as many as possible, but to suggest the Flames should just eat it if no one wants to attend this game is a tough stance. Besides, we'll end up paying for it next year if we want them to take that stance, they'll just need to raise ticket prices up more to cover any COVID losses they undertake this year anyways. One way or another there is no way to avoid the impacts.
