boots, boots, boots, boots. Forget the skis and put everything into getting a proper pair of boots. I have a really wide foot/feet and have suffered through boots for the past 6-7 years because we didn't ski too much and finally got a new pair this year.
Get measured and then go somewhere else and get measured again. I got the Atomic Hawx magna 130s and they are super comfortable.
Once you get boots sorted try a few different demos at the hill or Sports rent to see what your like about skis before buying.
