That was as good an ending as anyone could have hoped for, and these last two episodes were outstanding. Right up there with the first 4 seasons IMO. I really enjoyed this new season as whole, and for me it completely redeemed the series after the botched ending of S8.

Dexter dying was really the perfect end for the character. I loved Harrison saying the line from the very first episode of season 1: "open your eyes and look at what you've done", followed by Dex seeing flashes of all the innocent people who died as a result of his actions. Such a great moment for the character and the series.

I suppose we can assume that they now have enough evidence between Angela and Batista to tie Dex to the Bay Harbor Butcher killings. Angela was pretty dead-on with her theory and seemed to have what she needed to back most of it up. By the episode's end I'm guessing that she probably put together the fact that Dex killed Kurt as well, which would certainly fit the same vigilante pattern of the Bay Harbor murders.

So I guess that means we're not getting a 2nd season. Unless they do a series revolving around Harrison trying to control his own dark passenger.
