Just really wanted a valiant effort tonight. More so after the Panthers. I thought they would.
They take their foots off the gas right at the moment when you hope they'll put it to the floor. It's such a frustrating trend with this team.
I was legitimately convinced they had a different DNA this season and could skate with any team. They can't skate with these two. Nor Vegas. And that sucks.
Was hoping to be able to feel like we never needed Eichel and could do it as a team under Sutter.
